The details..oh, the details! I planned our wedding all by myself and I’m embarassed by the amount of stress the details caused me. I do think everything came together so beautifully and exactly how I envisioned it, but I do think stressing so much was a little silly. In the end we were married and that’s all that mattered. 😉 I went with a light peach, navy, and gold color scheme. I used moss as an accent and I just love the way it all came together.
In Feburary my MOH, Lily, and my aunt hosted a bridal shower for me. We had a “Steel Magnolias” (my favorite movie!) theme and it was so much fun! They put a note on the invitations that told everyone to wear their favorite hat and bring a recipe card with their favorite southern recipe. They did so good with the details..all the way down to the armadillo cake! 😉 It was truly the best time with all my favorite women and girls.
So sad I didn’t take more pictures on my camera, but here a few photos we took on our phones.
